GWA’s participation in the Council of Writer’s Organizations (CWO) makes GWA members eligible for special services offered through CWO to its 21 member organizations. Media Liability Insurance is a special insurance plan that provides protection against defamation, invasion of privacy, plagiarism, infringement, piracy and many other communication perils that writers face in their profession. In addition, a Professional Business Owners Insurance program includes coverage in the area of building and business personal property, business general liability, business auto, and workers compensation. Health Insurance
Members are eligible for group insurance, available for residents in most U.S. states, including Major Medical, Term Life, and Accidental Death and Dismemberment.
