Garden Photographers
 The Garden Writers Association Foundation has reproduced a collection of Photographer’s Corner columns from past issues of the Quill & Trowel newsletter. This Q&T column has covered many interesting topics written by “guest writers” as well as the two “anchors” the column has had since its inception in 1997 — Alan Detrick and Janet Loughrey. Today, 10 years later, the column continues and is even more valuable to members as technology continues to change and more writers are doing photography. GWA also boasts many more members who are solely horticulture photographers today than we did years ago.
The concept for a photo monograph was conceived in 2002 as a compilation of relevant articles from the Q&T. Imagine all the information on digital photography that would have been missed if this monograph had been done at that time. All the references (books, websites and contact information) have been double checked and updated as necessary. Any references that no longer exist have been eliminated. You may want to clip new “Photographer’s Corner” columns and add them to this monograph to keep it up to date.
The monograph is offered as a free benefit to GWA members as an electronic file. You may also order a hard copy from the GWA office at a cost of $10 for printing and shipping.
